why not using rotor plugin? Rotor 0.1.4 mh 1.2 has this feature: http://dl.free.fr/p21k0puwn/rotor.tar.gz

if you are using vdr >= 1.7.14 you need my patch http://vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=99952&hilight=rotor&hilightuser=0&page=2
