method of running things. I find that the VDR machine is creating a
very large number of defunct screensaver processes under Xine-UI. They
do not clear until Xine is stopped and though they do not take up any
system resources, they can't be a good thing. I've disabled the
screensaver from the GUI, from the command line, and made the
gnome-screensaver app itself non-executable with a chmod -x. <br>
I am currently running vdr 1.5.12 with v4l drivers, CoreAVC processes,
"walery" xine-lib from the list, Xine-UI 0.99.6, Xine-plugin 0.8.2
