Description

The Bitstreamout plugin receives the 16bit encoded audio stream of a DVB card and sends it over the PCI bus to the S/PDIF port of an ALSA compatible sound card

Hardware requirements

• ALSA compatible sound card

Software requirements

• ALSA sound driver
• libmad

Installation

For installing libmad

cd $SOURCEDIR
tar xvzf libmad-<VERSION>.tar.gz
cd libmad-<VERSION>
./configure --prefix=/usr/local
make
make install
ldconfig

Parameter
