A RAM size of 128MB is sufficient for a VDR system. More is naturally not worse, but has also no significant advantages.

For users of development enviroments and ramdisks, or those who want to use the VDR system for other things as well more RAM is recommended. Which RAM type and clock rate depends on the Mainboard (see it's manual).
