Description

The recoder tools has the same goals a formerly the mplayercluster-plugin for VDR, but with a slightly different approach: Instead of letting the plugin doing the job, a replacement for the mplayer.sh is used. This way it is possible to use all the features of the mplayer-plugin and nevertheless leave the reencoding job to an other powerful machine. Every command from the plugin to the mplayer.sh replacement is send to the server despite volume changes, which are processed locally.
