Description
Allows access to the mainmenu of a remote VDR. You can e.g. edit timers and channels, run commands from the commands menu or change the setup of the remote VDR. This is a very interesting feature for streamdev clients as you gain easy access to the streamdev server.
Software requirements
- svdrpservice-plugin on local (client) VDR
- svdrpext-plugin on remote (server) VDR
Installation
Problems
- Menu pops up on remote (server) VDR
- While in the remote menu, keystrokes won't be processed as fast as in the normal (local) menu
- Limitations of the VDR cStatus interface apply
- Just text - no graphics
- No event titles/subtitles on info screen
