One has to choose between the xine-plugin and this plugin. Both plugins won't work.

Installation

Xine-lib 

cd $SOURCEDIR
tar xvzf xine-lib-<VERSION>.tar.gz
cd xine-ui-<VERSION>
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local
make
make install
ldconfig
