I need assistance with my Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick (800e) ID 2304:0227

My belief is that I am only lacking firmware. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64. I have tried the 32 bit firmware. It works on my 32 bit machine, not on the 64. In my attempt to gain 64 bit drivers, I noticed a 64 bit folder in the HVR-12x0-14x0-17x0_1_25_25271_WHQL.zip file. I tried "hacking up" the extract_xc3028.pl script by changing the hash info to match the md5 of the hcw85bda.sys in said folder. It did extract "something" but I don't believe it to be the correct firmware as the the files are obviously different. But I had to try something :).

Anyway, I need 64 bit firmware (I think).
