A DVB-C demodulator produced by the former VLSI Technology, prior to its acquisition by Philips. The VES1820 was succeeded by Philips Semiconductors' TDA10021.

A Linux driver exists but is known to have problems in some networks with high-order modulation schemes like 128-QAM or 256-QAM.

Used e.g. on the Siemens and TechnoTrend DVB-C cards with onboard MPEG-decoder.
