[linux-dvb] bypassing tuner hw

Although the TI chip supports the direct feed of a TS stream the
Technotren-Siemems card have not implemented the hardware for that. It
is  possible to connect a firewire interface to the chip, where TS can
be put in and out, but its not connected on those cards. If someone is
very good at soldering and knows what he is doing it might be possible
to connect such an interface, but I don't know anyone who has tried
that. 
Otherwise, if you wanted to feed directly you would have to modulate a
DVB signal and feed it through the lnb connector.
