hi tobias!

afaik you can use ANY remote control you like.
maybe you have one left of an old VCR.
LIRC is able to learn any remote codes. that
means you can use any RC you like and teach it in.

ps. if you want to have a sample config file
from a sony tv i can send you mine. (the file -
not the tv. ;)
