You can test that yourself. Record a short sequence with vdr or "cat
/dev/video > test.mpg" and play it back with your favorit DVD(MPEG2)-
Player (btw: for Linux "mplayer" does a good job on playing back DVB files
after they are multiplexed with "mplex"). If you see the same artefacts on
your monitor, it is an mpeg- issue and not the fault of the card.
