Thanks, I'll ask them if they made any progress with this conversions
tool. 
I found other ALF/AOF tools before but they did no conversion and
usually only work with little-endian. 
The ARM7TDMI on the AV7110 is running in big-endian mode.
So, one would have to port uClinux-2.0.x to big-endian.
Other Linux versions do not have non-MMU support for ARM.
