Isn't the DVB-Card capable of MPEG1-Playback? MP3 is part of the MPEG1
standard, and in theory a multiplex of the MP3-audio-stream with a
dummy-video-stream to a MPEG1-stream piped into the driver should do the job.

Am I missing something?
