Panteltje Picture Viewer version 0.3
now on my site:

This version has:
Almost any format input (gif, ppm, jpg, tiff, etc.)

Studio quality PAL display by default.

Automatic resize and automatic aspect corection to get a full screen on
your TV.

To make a round planet look round, aspect correction and resize can be
switched off in the command line.
Command line flag to select MPEG-2 high quality or 352x288 coding.

Output file option to make a fast collection of .mpg single frame files.
Timer option to display a picture for only .. milliseconds.

No longer uses libjpeg, all functions use the ImageMagick utilities.
 
Of cause it still uses the mpeg2 coder.
