Hi,

as only windows software was mentioned till now: try out http://www.nbc-vbi.de.vu.
Since the server seems to be down right now, just search for nbc-vbi. There`s lots of linux
source code out there to work with bttv. Since you have the low-level data extraction
already, the rest should be copy and paste!
