Did that other channel have the 'Pnr' parameter defined (that's the last
number in the 'channels.conf' file)? If that parameter isn't set, the
EPG can't be accessed.

Another eason could be that that channel didn't broadcast any EPG data.
Sometimes for instance RTL2 doesn't do that. Maybe because the operator
fell asleep... ;-)
