VDR only reports when the buffer usage exceeds the previously
highest value (it starts reporting at 75%). If the bandwidth
allows it, the buffer is of course flushed - there is just no
report about that.

I also use an NFS mounted volume as my video directory.
Sometimes I even record three programmes simultaneously
without any problems.
