I had the same problem too. On a SuSE 7.2 with the original (not SuSE's)
Kernel sources installed. Installing the 'pached' SuSE Kernel (and
copied /boot/vmlinuz.config to /usr/src/linux/.config) the VDR problem was
gone. But now the maschine runs very unstable so i switched to 2.4.7 and
all problems was solved.

Funny, i had this too, but i has only one card installed.
