I got libdvdread you need for DVD-playing from
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libd/libdvdread/libdvdread_0.8.0.orig.tar.gz

but I get the error 
./vdr: error while loading shared libraries: libdvdread.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I am sure that the path to DVD/libdvdread is right, compiling is fine.
