I guess you are not right. ;-)

In Windows I can watch analog programs the same way like digital ones:
within a window, full screen or composite out (not yet tested) etc. With the
newest Siemens DVB software version 1.61 I can even record analog programs
although the quality is bad.

There is an encoder chip from Philips on the analog module (If I'm not wrong
it's a SAA7113 - 9-bit video input processor). As far as I know there is
currently only support for Brooktree/Conexant (analog) TV chipsets available
but not for Philips.

if i´m right is this only  a tuner for watching analouge Signals at the
TV-Output - but the card don´t have a encoder chipset - so you are not able
to record this !
