Hehheh ... Matthias ... is it to early .. open your eyes a it more and you 

will see it's really a B and not a D !!!!

anyway ... DVD-R's and soon DVD+RW's are available at affordable price 
.... the dream isn't far away !!! afaik linux support is allready 
available for the new DVD-R/+RW's ....

To record? Would be a dream (a DVD recorder/writer, just create a DVD
by pressing a key :-). I think right is "to play".
