The strange thing is that this does necessarily occure after the first
error. I even get 10 or more of these errors and VDR continues to record
fine afterwards. My last recording with these errors had 19 of them and it
finished just fine.

Then after error x (x > 3 ?) of this type, VDR just forgets all the data
in the ringbuffer and it doesn't really fill up afterwards. Bytes get put
into it, but none are written to disk. Nonetheless the data in the buffer
is always pretty low (< 14000 bytes). That's why I suspect the ringbuffer
to be faulty.
