[linux-dvb] Dish Network a no-go?

I think the main question in the previous mail was what kind of
conditional access module (CAM) the Dish Network uses.
Do they use a Common Interface (CI) type module or are the CAMs
built into the recievers or do they use something else like the 
non-standard CAMs in the D-box?

If they are CI modules they might work with the DVB card.
You will have to buy the CI interface for the DVB card and plug the 
CI-CAM into it. 
But as you might have read in this list some CI-CAMs do not work
with the current firmware.
