[linux-dvb] Re: segmentation fault... (newbie question)
I had the same problem. I took the card and put it in a Win98 box, installed
drivers and software. Then I moved the card back in my Linux box and it worked
fine again.
I can´t explain that behavior but it worked for my. Maybe you´ll give it a
try.

Hi all,
I downloaded the driver ( DVB.20010821.16-23-21.tar.gz) from 16th August
from the linuxtv Website, unpacked the file and compiled everything
within /DVB/driver.
But when doing "insmod dvb init_chan=2 pids_off=0 readfirm=1" I always
get a segmentation fault.
How can I get the card running?
What did I forget or what am I doing wrong?
It's a TT-DVBsat Revision 1.3 with an stv0299 tuner I think.
Please help.
Thanx in advance,
Andre.
