[linux-dvb] vdr does not run!?!

I have just installed dvb drivers and vdr on my linux system.
When I try to run vdr I have no errors but it does'nt run!
the  /var/log/messages file reports:

or directory

Aug 21 18:27:46 localhost vdr[942]: probing /dev/ost/qamfe0
Aug 21 18:27:46 localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module

Aug 21 18:27:46 localhost vdr[942]: ERROR: no video device found, giving up!

I don't have setup.conf on my hard disk! Where it should be? Why I don't
have it.
