[linux-dvb] rgb AND cvbs

hi all!

yesterday i tried to connect my dvb-s card to my video
beamer via jumper2 to RGB video in.
that didn.t work as described in the linuxtvb faq.

the picture.s got heavy distortions, and as a side
effect the signal of the "normal" cinch video out
became darker. is there any way to compensate this??
and has anyone any ideas what i could have done 
wrong? what is used as sync for the rgb signal?
is it the "normal" video signal, or the +5v ??
i.m a bit confused. ;))
