Less pieces means high price and high price means less demand
whereas the whishes for such type of cases would increase if
the price wouldn't that high for hand made cases.  Maybe we
should look for a vendor which is able to produce for a given
slim ATX desktop case the front plates repectivly the components
of such a front plate in aluminium with a CNC miller in an high
automatically process and therefore for an acceptable price.
