Ok, fine, so did I miss here something? How can I control which card is used
for recording, if I start it via the OSD menu??

As already stated in one of the earlier answer to that topic that only
works, if you have a sound card. Unfortunately I have only one sound device - the
one on the dvb card. Since the windows (sorry) software can adjust the sound
volume, it should not be a general problem.
