[linux-dvb] DVD & VDR Playback prob.

Hi,

yesterday i've tried to view the DVD 'Der Guru' (an Eddie Murphy Movie,
the original name is Holy Man). VDR was not able to play this DVD, the
following message appears:

libdvdread: Encrypted DVD disc detected, enabling CSS decryption.
vdr: ifo_read.c:1145: ifoRead_C_ADT_internal: Assertion `info_length /
sizeof(cell_adr_t) >= c_adt->nr_of_vobs' failed
/dvb/VDR/vdr exits with errorcode 6

Same thing with Eddie Murphys 'Metro'. Both DVDs are from Touchstone Home
Video.

I have traced the problem back to the libdvd library, an ifo_dump (comes
with the library) results the same:

libdvdread: Encrypted DVD disc detected, enabling CSS decryption.
lt-ifo_dump: ifo_read.c:1145: ifoRead_C_ADT_internal: Assertion
`info_length / sizeof(cell_adr_t) >= c_adt->nr_of_vobs' failed.

So its not VDR's fault. I cant use newer (CVS) versions of libdvdread
since it requires libdvdcss.so. I was not able to find this library.

BTW: With dvdplayer v0.5 (afaik) i was able to view Metro, but i was not
     able to get sound.
