The satellite equipment control (SEC) part of the SAT frontend
switches between H/V polarization and high/low band, and can
send DiSEqC commands to possibly control other switches.

The driver disables loop-through, and by default (when dvb.o is
loaded with init_chan=2 [see DVB/driver/Makefile]) switches
to n-tv in the Astra high band, presuming you can receive Astra 19.2E.

After that analog channels (which usually are in the low band on Astra)
won't work unless you re-enable loop-through or switch to a
transponder in Astra low band, e.g. to the IFA-TV channel recently
mentioned here (which still broadcasts).

Johannes
