What I don't like about such remotes is the double use of the color and
the cursor keys with vcr functions. This may confuse users because in
VDR you use the key in a different way. Another point is the volume and
mute control for the TV which isn't possible here. 

I therefor bought the OneForAll 4 Digital which seems to be the ideal
remote for VDR and TV, of course except for the Pronto. ;-)

There price is certainly an argument. :)
But I would prefer a little more comfort.
