[linux-dvb] VDR/Siemens DVB & WinFast 4xSound
Hello,
Any ideas if i can use a homebrew adapter (Cinch -> 2pin cable) to use
DVB-C's "DIGITAL AUDIO" Output with my Winfast SPDIF-IN (J1)?
BTW: amixer doesnt show my SPDIF lines (alsa 0.9.0b6, SuSE 7.2, 2.4.2)
Whats wrong?
More:
---- modules.conf ------
# ALSA portion
alias char-major-116 snd
options snd snd_major=116 snd_cards_limit=1
alias snd-card-0 snd-card-cmipci
# OSS/Free portion
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss
----------------------------
Error message also:
"module named snd-mixer-oss already exists
insmod sound-service-0-3 failed"
But nothing more than the lines above defined in modules.conf
In general sound is working (speager output is ok)
Thanks for the feedback
Uwe
