[linux-dvb] Desktop to TV???

Hello,

I've one question. is it possible, to record divx movies on an videorecorder...in windows i only can record the Picture of the programs currently running or been recorded with DVB PCI TV before....can i for example send the current desktop picture over the scart adapter to my vcr?
