It's really simple. I have installed a 40cm dish on my balcony, namely
on the wall side, not the open one. It cannot be seen from outside so
there is no need for any permission. No need to mount it, it came with
a stand. It's really much simpler than I thought!
Of course, in Europe you need an open sight southward.
(The only problem is to adjust the dish to the satellite - you need a
program that displays the signal strength.)

Don't underestimate this digital technology. DVB-s can be received
100% error free even if the signal power is so small that no analog
reception would be possible.
