[linux-dvb] AW: Problems with Hauppauge DVB-S

Hi,

... but there is an error shown ;-(
(the "dvb: debi test in bootarm() failed: ...")

Try setting BIOS Entry for "Boot to PNP BIOS" to NO.
Otherwise maybe using another PCI slot will help.

Hope that helps

Jörg

Betreff: [linux-dvb] Problems with Hauppauge DVB-S

Hi everybody,
I got a problem with a Hauppauge DVB-s I'm not able to solve. Actually, I
don't know what to try next...
Things went pretty smooth, no problem compiling kernel (2.4.18 on RH base +
kde), no problem with DVB drivers (0.9.4), no error shown here.
But still, I got errors trying to use any simple application, like
test_video, tuxview or tuxplayer. Here below you'll find the relevant
portion of messages file.
These messages relate to a tuxplayer session.
I suspect firmware has not been loaded correctly: how can I check this?

Any hint?

Thanks to everybody,

Max
