[linux-dvb] X11 driver for DVBs card ?

Anyone ever heard about / currently working on an X11 DVBs driver/wrapper ?
I mean running an X-Server with it's graphic output onto the dvbs card !
Of course this driver/wrapper must encode the picture in realtime to mpeg1/2 
(mpeg1, i guess ;-) 
Mplayer proved that it's possible in realtime, so why not ?

This would give great possibilities with the DVBs card in our living rooms :-)
