I could try, yes. Actually, I have a bigger problem with my system. This
may sound ridiculous, but in order to be able to save stream directly to
disk with dvbstream without errors, I either have to play something via
dxr3 or have 'dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/null' running in the background. If
I don't dvbtune -m will show hundreds of BlockErrors.

I suspect this is some kind of weird hardware problem, the system is
AMD K6-2 with SiS motherboard chipset. I've tried just about all BIOS
options and everything that might make a difference in the 2.4.1[89]
kernels I've been using.

Any ideas on this mystery would be greatly appreciated. And don't tell me
that's stupid and it can't be. That's just how it is. :-/
