[linux-dvb] Sound problem, recording problems with dvb-s rev 2.2

Hi list,
I was using a dvb-s rev 2.1 -> works fine.
A friend of mine bought a new dvb-s card (nexus from Hauppauge) a rev 2.2.
It looks the same but many problems, first the sound :
the sound is depending on the volume, not enough loud (bad quality 
because the volume has to be high on the tv set)
or like too loud when the volume is over 200 (bad quality too)
spdif works well.
And another problem on recordings, vdr creates more than 50 vdr files 
001.vdr ... 050.vdr with big holes...
Is there someone who have a dvb-s card working well ?
