Hi Marcus, 

thanks much for the hint. The machine is "full to the brim" with 2 ISA
cards (soundblaster / Teles ISDN), 2 NICS (both PCI), SCSI controller
and AGP Viper V330 and the DVB-C card, so it sounds like the power
supply might be a problem. I tried running the machine with open case,
but that did not improve the picture. 

Also, I have two hard disks in there (4GB SCSI, 40 gig IDE, and
2x500MHz Celerons (not overclocked) + 1 SCSI CD-ROM.


I think I have a 350W supply in there ("Best" ATX miditower), but I
might be wrong. I'll check this later and see if the problem persists.

So am I right in assuming that you have used DVB cards on that
motherboard successfully?
