[linux-dvb] a few dvb questions

I am new to dvb. I have a few questions about DVB-T
that I hope to get some help.

1. What's the typical bit-rate used in one DVB-T
channel? I assume that each channel carries one MPEG-2
transport stream. But how many programs does it
typically contain?

2. I live in the US and do not have access to DVB-T.
But I have got a Nova-T and want to play with it. Do
you know how much it costs to buy a DVB-T signal
generator that can read from a file and generate DVB-T
signal?
