FWIW, this is the card that Hauppauge is now selling as the "Nova-T" (they
formerly sold a quite different card under the same name!), and that
Lorenzen is also selling in Germany.

The CI connector is _not_ equipped, neither on the Hauppauge nor on the
Lorenzen model. And there appear to be a number of SMD components missing,
so it wouldn't be simple to add the connector. And the design seems a bit
kludgy to me anyway: The connector is simply wired to the SAA7146A DEBI
port. The software would transfer the data from the demodulator to system
memory, then back from system memory to the CI for unencryption, then back
to system memory - i.e. every MPEG-2 packet would have to pass _three
times_ through the SAA7146A. I think this design leads to all kinds of
timing issues... Decoding the packets in software might be a better
solution...

IMHO, encrypted DVB-T is a flaw in itself ;)

Yes, Andrew de Quincey has developed a frontend driver for the frontend on
this board (TDM1316L and TDA10045H).
