[linux-dvb] DVB-C user: suggestion please



This email is especially directed to DVB-C users (cable not sat).

 
Do you have any suggestion for a full-featured DVB-C card which can
handle (decode) PS_MPEGs with a bandwidth of 10.3068 Mbit/s ?

My "Siemens cable card PCI rev1.5" plays these mpegs only
with framedrops.

I have recorded these mpegs with a TV4ME card from Fast/Dazzle.
The mpeg decoder of the TV4ME card has no problem to play these
mpegs. But it's on Windoze and I would like to use VDR/DVB on Linux.


Here you see some info from streamtype and analyze (mpegtools)
of a sample mpeg file (108MB for 2 minutes):
