[linux-dvb] Best card (USB)

Hi.

Im looking at getting a DVB receiver.

Since one can get freeview by satellite, Im wondering if its possible to
get any other channels too. My dish would not be steerable, and pointed
at the Sky satellite (astra, right?)

what else is available, and is it worth it compared to DVB-t ?

secondly, I want a USB receiver. I assume these will be USB-2 due to the
bandwidth required?

what is a good deal and works? there is a hauppage USB DVB-S card - does
that work?

I heard talk of a 'kit' card available - is that still the case and how
much? is it USB ?
