Hi Joerg,

I see from the log that you own a rev2.3 card. There was a heating 
problem with this, but Augusto fixed this before the "Nikolaus"-release. 
Wolfgang's refcount-patch is also incorporated into CVS, no need to to 
this manually.
Note that you should use the dvb-kernel branch in any case, the DVB 
branch drivers have not been updated since 1.0.0 release.

Sorry that I cannot help you with VDR, haven't tried it myself.
