I have found a temporary solution to getting a decent picture. I have chosen the YC output mode (vidmode=3) and set the TV input to YC also. The picture is much better than both composite and RGB.

I hope I can work out the problems with RGB though. I don't really know how to coble all this stuff together in a professional manner.
