That is what I think, but as far as I can see the driver
rel 1.1.1 should contain dvb_compat.c 1.4 which says
#if (LINUX_VERSION_CODE < KERNEL_VERSION(2,4,22))
and which is the one I have since I am using the linux_2_4 branch.

Maybe things have changed since the 1.1.1 release.
