I wanted to check if there is any work being done by anyone on supporting the Samsung/Zarlink MT-352 tuner/demodulator as used by a number of recently released cards.

The Kworld V-Stream, DVico FusionHDTV and Avermedia A771 cards all seem to be based on this tuner+frontend metal can manufactured by Samsung.

AFAIK mt352.c supports the Samsung frontend, however, I don't
know about its current development status. You'll have to
ask Holger directly. http://qanu.de/
For other PLLs than the TUA6034 or if the TUA6034 is clocked at any other frequency than 10.667MHz you might need to adjust the frequency divisor settings.

If the SAW bandswitch selector is connected to different GPIO pins of the MT352 or the optimal charge pump settings are different you might need to adjust these bytes.

All the relevant places than might need a change are clearly marked in the code, just follow the comments and adjust the source appropriatly.

hope that helps,

Holger
