[linux-dvb] Re: New calls to the i2c video decoder API

Hello,

I have noticed that since 2.6.6-bk2, the i2c video decoder API has changed
significantly. The new kernel patch implements new i2c calls to the saa7111

2.6.6-bk2 and up, I get the following error:
drivers/media/dvb/ttpci/av7110.c: In function `av7110_attach':

drivers/media/dvb/ttpci/av7110.c:1380: error: `I2C_ADAP_CLASS_TV_DIGITAL'
undeclared (first use in this function)

drivers/media/dvb/ttpci/av7110.c:1380: error: (Each undeclared identifier is
reported only once

drivers/media/dvb/ttpci/av7110.c:1380: error: for each function it appears
in.)

Are there plans to addapt the new API calls to the linux-dvb cvs drivers?
The av7110 driver doesn't use the saa7111 decoder -- these two changes are not directly related to DVB.

(The saa7146 driver is used for both av7110 DVB cards and analoge tv-cards. For example the MXB driver needs the saa7111, that's why I proposed changes to the saa7111 driver, but that's another story...)

But thanks for the hint, I'll investigate it.

Thanks...
CU
Michael.
