Hi folks,
after some debugging of mplayer, dvbstream 0.5 and tzap I found a fix
for the problem.
Adding the line
feparams->u.qam.modulation = 9;
just before the FE_SET_FRONTEND ioctl fixes mplayer (and dvbstream)
No clue what I have done here, but it works for me(tm). ;-)
